Yes, the pool is great fun, the beach incredible, but a swim in the Banyoles lake is without a doubt a unique experience!

In a small area of the lake is the well-known Caseta de Fusta (free swimming area open to the public)

Area with grass, lever to sunbathe, stairs to access the water and a small stone beach.

It has a lifeguard service with a designated area for bathing.

The opening period is usually from June to September, during August you should know that there is a large influx of people.

You can access it on foot or by bicycle, (it has parking for bicycles) it cannot be reached by vehicle.

The wooden house is one of the privileged places to experience a postcard sunset at one of the most beautiful lakes in Catalonia!

A place to go swimming with children that is more than fun!

Ducks tend to come closer, so while you’re swimming, a mother with her ducklings may overtake you!
