Cuando llega el buen tiempo lo único que piensas es en relajarte, tomar el sol y relajarte con los tuyos. Pues ven a nuestro camping y pasa un verano de lo más refrescante con los niños!

Justo detrás de la barra encontrarás la zona de baño, ideal para desconectar y divertirse a la vez.

 

Dos piscinas de agua salada en medio de una gran zona de césped, ideal para tomar el sol mientras los más inquietos no paran de tirarse al agua! Pero espera, que eso no es todo porque… también habilitamos un castillo hinchable justo detrás de la piscina, ¡una combinación realmente divertida!

Es un castillo hinchable, forma parte del programa de actividades, no es permanente.

 

¡No lo pienses más y ven a nuestro camping para pasar unas vacaciones de lo más refrescantes! ¡Toda una experiencia si viajas con niños!

The pantry is right next to the reception. It is a small pantry with basic and local products… and always the most healthy and suitable for everyone.

 

 

You will be able to find organic eggs from our chickens, whips and local sausages, among others.

 

 

 

Apart from essential products, we also offer you the possibility to enjoy a sweetest breakfast! Every morning we prepare bread and croissants, both normal and chocolate….. mmmmmm! If you feel like making the treat, just order it the day before!

 

 

So you know, if you’ve arrived at the campsite and you need something to complete your lunch or dinner, don’t worry, you’ll find the best ingredients in our small supermarket!

GORGA DEL BATLLE

Gorga del Batlle: Family and nature, the perfect equation

With the arrival of good weather, the sun dissolves the mantle of snow accumulated in the mountains, and the rivers descend with more force.At the passage of rivers and streams, we find waterfalls that transform the landscape.

A magnificent example is the Gorga del Batlle, in the municipality of Santa Pau.

To get there, you must leave Santa Pau on the GI-524 road in the direction of Mieres. At kilometer 13, we will find a break on the left past the Sallent signpost.

To start the route, we must take the paved track in the direction of Rocacorba. We will continue on foot along the downhill track. At the end of the descent we will find a bridge over which the river Ser passes. After crossing the bridge, we will go down a narrow path on the left.This trail is signposted: Link GR-2; Sant Martí Vell; Santa Pau

We will continue along this beautiful shaded trail with GR signposts that we will never leave until we reach the Salt de Can Batlle.

We will find the farmhouse of Can Batlle on the right, and we must continue until we find a bridge. In front of this bridge, we can already see the Can Batlle jump.

To go down to the jump itself, we have to continue over the bridge and once passed go to the right, there are two paths to go down to the jump. We recommend going down the second one, you will need to help the children as the descent is steep.

 

To return to where the vehicle is, we must undo the path.

Bath with children in Banyoles Lake!

Bathing with children, where? On the beach, in the pool, in the river…and also in the lake!

 

Yes, the pool is great fun, the beach incredible, but a swim in the Banyoles lake is without a doubt a unique experience!

 

In a small area of ​​the lake is the well-known Caseta de Fusta (free swimming area open to the public)

 

Area with grass, lever to sunbathe, stairs to access the water and a small stone beach.

 

It has a lifeguard service with a designated area for bathing.

 

The opening period is usually from June to September, during August you should know that there is a large influx of people.

 

You can access it on foot or by bicycle, (it has parking for bicycles) it cannot be reached by vehicle.

 

The wooden house is one of the privileged places to experience a postcard sunset at one of the most beautiful lakes in Catalonia!

 

A place to go swimming with children that is more than fun!

 

Ducks tend to come closer, so while you’re swimming, a mother with her ducklings may overtake you!

CENTRE DE REPRODUCCIÓ DE TORTUGUES DE L’ALBERA

All for the protection and reproduction of turtles

The Albera Tortoise Reproduction Center (CRT de l’Albera) is located in the Santuari del Camp, in the municipality of Garriguella (Alt Empordà), It includes facilities for the study, conservation and captive breeding of the native turtles of Catalonia, in danger of extinction, and collaborates in the recovery of other species from the Mediterranean basin or other parts of the world.

It is a highly recommended option to do with children.

The priority objectives are the captive breeding of Mediterranean turtles, in order to be released into their natural habitats and recover their populations. They also house stolen exotic turtles that have escaped, been abandoned, or been confiscated by the authorities.

The natural processes of laying, births and treatment of the young are observed. The activity of the visit is complemented by an audiovisual, in different languages, which helps to understand the dynamics of work in the conservation of threatened species.

A walk with children and a stroller!

Take a lap at a child’s pace!

 

one of the emblematic places in our area is the lake of Banyoles, declared by the Generalitat de Catalunya Cultural Property of National Interest.

If you are looking for a place to walk with your children, going around the lake is an ideal place!

From La Vall de Campmajor campsite we are very present to families like you who leave home with a baby, that’s why we propose an activity that can be done with a pram!!

Along the route we find many points of interest, for example on the east side of the lake there are 20 fishing piers, dating from the mid-19th century. 19th and early s. 20th

Along the way, we will find springs such as La Font de la Filosa or Font del Ferro.

Apart from the pond, we find small ponds, such as the Vilar pond, the largest and closest of all those around the Pond.

We will know that we are already in the municipal area of ​​Porqueres when we find the Romanesque church of Santa Maria from the s. XII a building of great architectural beauty.

In this part of the lake we find the most forested area, where the “wooden levers” act as a lookout point in the lake. Mandatory stops to take a photo, rest or simply marvel at the panoramas.

The route around the lake is 8 km, if you go to all the points of interest.

Parc Neolític de la Draga

What can we learn from the Neolithic?

The open-air Children’s Museum, the Draga Neolithic Park

Outdoor children’s museum designed for different family activities.

La Draga is the only Neolithic lacustrine site in the Iberian Peninsula, with a chronology that goes back to 5300-5200 BC.

The town was built and inhabited during the ancient Neolithic, so its inhabitants can be considered the first farmers and ranchers in Catalonia.

The Neolithic park opens from June to October with scheduled activities with prior reservation.

The park cannot be visited freely

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the scheduled activity will be canceled with prior notice.

Family activity that allows us to delve into the Neolithic. Strolling through the Draga park we will discover who lived there and what daily life was like in this very remote era. We will put into practice some of the activities that took place there.

 

Visit the park and demonstration of Neolithic activities

During the visit to the park, we will be able to enter the reconstructions of the prehistoric huts and discover the day-to-day life of a group of Neolithic farmers and herders while discovering what they ate, what they hunted, what they cultivated, what utensils and tools they used, etc. With the demonstrations we will observe how these practices were carried out.
