Family visit to the La Fageda Cooperative to learn how yogurts, ice creams and many other desserts are made….

It was born in the 80s as a pilot experience to remove the mentally ill from psychiatric hospitals and the state of social marginalization they suffered from.

For this reason, in 1982 a project was launched with the aim of integrating people with mental disabilities or mental disorders into the workplace and socially.

La Fageda has been working in the dairy market for more than 25 years.

What can be done in the cooperative?

You can go and lend a hand to the farmers of la Fageda, a family, educational and fun activity designed for children aged 3 to 10, the activity lasts approximately two hours.

You can also take a guided tour of the farm, where you will see the cows in production, the farrowing room, the calves and the milking room.

From the outside they will explain to you how they transform milk into yogurts and desserts, and also the different production and fermentation processes.

This second guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
